Rumination
Whenever I read the word rumination, or ruminating, my mind automatically jumps to the definition of cows (or other ruminants) fermenting and regurgitating their food between the chambers of their stomach. This always makes me giggle a little because its rarely what they mean, but its interesting how the scientific term and popular word are intertwined. I guess you could say I've been re-chewing my thoughts. For proper digestion!
